Whispered Love

Writer's picture: JoejoeJoejoe

I search for love, on panting breath,

A yearning heart, hoping to transcend death.

Sun and moon bore witness to my plea,

As I sought the grace of love's decree.

Through silent nights and sunlit days,

I beseeched the universe in countless ways.

With each sunrise that kissed the sky,

I implored for love in a fervent cry.

In dreams, that presence held me tight,

Guiding me through the endless night.

I painted my hopes on the canvas of time,

Wishing love and my world would intertwine.

Now, love is gone, my prayer still unfulfilled,

In the missed embrace, all my affection stilled.

The universe conspired to steal my love away,

With many whispers, my heart squills its dismay.
