Schadenfreude
A king of this corrupt domain,
He charts the lines where shadows reign.
He scopes his frame with practiced stare,
The Epstein class's chosen heir.
But structural cracks begin to pass,
And warp the surface of the glass—
The square-set jaw, the shoulder grand,
Built to inherit and command.
The cesspool deep reflects his feet,
Where heavy filth and shadows meet.
The mirror ripples in the heat,
A perfect form on toxic street.
I watch the surface crack, the tilt,
And smile to see such status drown,
As all the vanity and guilt
Go sliding to the bottom down
