I Resign

This is the day I must say goodbye

To the times, but not to leave you dry

I am going out there to see the sky

Do not cry for me cause away I must fly

So, to my friends, I say bye bye

For the love we have has gone dry

And I cannot find the reasons why

I must have left you with a sigh

But up I must go where I fixed my eyes

Where I’d pick up my piece of the pie

That is always waiting for me alright

It is time to leave since my joy is not nigh

Yesterday from my job I resigned

And today new labors I am assigned
