Moving On

Updated: Oct 23, 2021

When the days have run their full length

And there is little else for us to live for

We must leave for a firmer shore,

Wherein lies comfort in strength.

So, we live to find another to love

This new love was burning,

since the world was turning.

Be not accustomed to failure to prove.

But your eyes dilate with new terror

if success sneaks a glance at you in error.

Charge not others' failure to another.

A lousy friendship is terrible for every other.

How long would you fondle a snail?

If it always fails to trust your play.

With a heart and face to set sail

Make moves to the brightest of day

Some are willing to macho the race

that they see as a game of pace

We should crave grace

when Heaven breaks.
