Dire Straits

It wasn’t exactly what I saw in ink

it was worse than I could think

The depths to which you’d sink

And the length of your high jinx.

When in the heat of cold fury

Your coup failed the legal theory

You can beat upon your breast

But, your very heart will not rest.

To be a winner, you must cheat to win

To be whiner, you worked us thin

The lie is as big and heavy as a mountain

For your dishonor will forever remain.

You put a stake through the heart of the states.

A grievous mistake to win puts you in these straits.
